Jason Huang graduated from Alliant International University with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and is currently pursuing a doctorate in the same field at Alliant. With experience in residential inpatient and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) for teens and adults, hospice work, nonprofit settings, and fieldwork, Jason brings in experience working with clients with serious mental illness. Jason utilizes evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, DBT, IFS, and CBT in individual and trauma therapy. Jason’s interest and specialties include trauma therapy, addiction, Ketamine Assisted Therapy, and acculturation issues. His deep interest in these areas allows him to provide tailored and effective support to his clients. Additionally, Jason can provide bilingual therapy in Mandarin. Jason also draws on the IFS and Bowen Family Systems approach in family and couples therapy. He believes that understanding the intricate connections between different parts of oneself and fostering positive relationships with others is critical to holistic well-being. Jason works collaboratively with clients to unearth authentic joy and embrace a life reflecting their true selves. He believes that creating a safe, warm, and compassionate space helps clients navigate life’s complexities with resilience and grace, empowering them to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.
